The NEC Aspire, NEC XN120 and NEC SL1100 systems are discontinued NEC end-of-life system models
Classified as ‘end-of-life’ they are no longer supported by the manufacturer. However, this does not mean that you need to stop using these systems if you are still operating one of them. NEC end-of-life systems can still be maintained.

Beware of the ISDN switch-off.
An important point to bear in mind is that the NEC Aspire and NEC XN120 will not work once BT switches off the ISDN and Analogue lines for good. BT has already stopped taking orders for new ISDN lines and intend to switch off the ISDN network permanently by 2025.
You have until 2025 to review your options if you are still using an NEC Aspire or XN120 system. For the NEC SL1100, if enabled for SIP already, this system will continue to work after the ISDN switch off. It would, however, require a refresh on the main NEC system.
2025 might seem like a long way off, but it is important to start thinking now about how you will make that changeover. We suggest you contact your service provider to get up-to-date information about the options available to you.
