Martell’s – the family-run removals and storage business
What our customer says
“Our shop which housed our aging phone system was being re-developed. It made sense to upgrade and switch to SIP trunks and move the system over to our head office all at the same time. Thanks to Ben and the rest of the team for putting together a reliable solution and within a quick time frame.”
Martell’s Removals
The Requirements
Martell’s is a family-run removals and storage business with shops in East Grinstead in West Sussex and Sutton in Surrey.
Martell’s was building a new department store, which required communication with its head office and existing shop. They required a robust and resilient solution with a plan to minimise future downtime, and they needed to retain their existing numbers.
The Solution
MF Telecom Services’ engineers replaced the ISDN lines with SIP trunks so that all sites could communicate with each other. Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) is a cost-effective IP telephony option that is a half way between VoIP and a traditional phone system. Calls are routed through the internet but the company still has a telephone system on-site.
The existing telephone numbers were kept and an on-going maintenance contract was put in place.
Our service
MF Telecom Services implemented a cost-effective system that provided Martell’s with a quick turnaround, scalability and various business disaster recovery options. Having a robust and resilient solution in place was a priority for Martell’s and the SIP trunks, along with being supported by MF’s engineers with a maintenance package, gave them confidence in their systems.
MF Telecom Services continues to provide phone lines and calls and telephone system maintenance support.
